Note: this is a work-in-progress and is verrry preliminary at this stage. Also, I had computer problems (surprise) getting the thing into UT, but I'll sort this by next week.
These were some images I found of a plane and apartment designed by Versace (Gianni?). I used them as inspiration for the elevator.

Electroliquid aggregation
Electroliquid Aggregation for Jane Goodall and Stephen Hawking:
"The whole history of science has been the gradual realisation that events do not happen in an arbitrary manner, but that every individual has a role to play, which may be divinely inspired."
Original Quotes:
Jane Goodall
"Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference"
Steven Hawking
“The whole history of science has been the gradual realization that events do not happen in an arbitrary manner, but that they reflect a certain underlying order, which may or may not be divinely inspired.”

UT Final Model - Jane Goodall and Stephen Hawking
Overview of the two spaces, Jane Goodall's lab on the left, Stephen Hawking's lab on the right
Top of spiral ramp inside Jane Goodall's lab
NB: although it looks like there are stairs, this is actually a ramp. I think UT just divides the curved sections up so it appears like these are stairs.
Entrance to Jane Goodall's lab with beginning of spiral ramp: the random nature of the strips on the walls is to resemble nature, and surrounding trees. The ramp is also curved and playful, so it would be of interest to the apes. Note there are several levels, so the apes could be kept on one, and Goodall could work on another. Also the lights reflect off the textures, to give impressions of nature and wildlife prints. Different levels represent different ideas occurring within, but none is given precedence: 'each has a role to play'.
Middle level of Stephen Hawking's lab: the lab is set back into the wall, denoting mystery, intrigue, and the unknown, like Hawking's work. The blue lights emphasise this, and reinforce the galactic scope of what Hawking studies. All the rooms are low, flat and wide, so as to give Hawking the best view possible from his wheelchair. The balconies that extend beyond the wall allow Hawking to view the skies, and contemplate the 'divine inspiration' mentioned in the electroliquid aggregation.
Meeting area viewed from Stephen Hawking's lab: this is an open area, where the exchange of ideas will occur. I wanted to keep the area open and free to the air for several reasons: this harks back to the agora of ancient Greek societies, where philosophical ideas could be exchanged in an open area; also it references the electroliquid aggregation, where divine inspiration would come from above. Finally, both clients have a special relationship with the open air and sky: Jane Goodall lived under the open sky, and works with nature often, while Hawking contemplates the universe above in his work.
